Booking Process

Every guided tour provided by the Guide Interpreter who is a member of our Partnership is categorized into two types of contracts: Guide-Organized Tour Contract and Custom-Ordered Guided Tour Contract. Here, we explain the transaction flow of each contract in most cases. If you would like to know more about our guided tour contracts, please read through the page of Guide Business Stipulations.

Guide-Organized Tour Contract

  1. The Guide Interpreter prepares for the recruitment of the Travelers a guided tour plan in which the destination and itinerary of the guided tour and the amount of the guide interpreter fee, etc. that the Traveler should pay to the Guide Interpreter are specified, and the Guide Interpreter uploads the plan on the Web.
  2. The Traveler who intends to apply to the Guide Interpreter for a guided tour contract enters the prescribed matters in an application form prescribed by our Partnership and submits it to the Guide Interpreter together with the application fee.
  3. The contract enters into effect when the Guide Interpreter has agreed to the conclusion of it and received the application fee.
  4. The Guide Interpreter issues the Contract Document to the Traveler promptly after the conclusion of the contract.
  5. The Traveler pays to the Guide Interpreter the guide interpreter fee, the amount of which is mentioned in the Contract Document, by the date mentioned in the Contract Document not later than the date of commencement of the guided tour.
  6. The expenses to conduct the guide services shall be paid by the Traveler to the Guide Interpreter during a period from the date when the payment of the guide interpreter fee has been done to before or on the date of the commencement of the guided tour.

Custom-Ordered Guided Tours

  1. The Guide Interpreter proposes on the Web a guided tour plan, including the major destinations and activities.
  2. The Traveler who becomes interested in the plan e-mails the Guide Interpreter with Tour ID specified by the Guide Interpreter in order to customize the plan.
  3. The Guide Interpreter listens to the Traveler’s request.
  4. The Guide Interpreter issues the Plan Document, prepared in line with the contents of the said request.
  5. The Traveler who intends to apply to the Guide Interpreter for a guided tour contract enters the prescribed matters in an application form prescribed by our Partnership and submits it to the Guide Interpreter together with the guide interpreter fee.
  6. The Traveler pays to the Guide Interpreter the guide interpreter fee, the amount of which is mentioned in the Plan Document, by the date mentioned in the Plan Document.
  7. The contract enters into effect when the Guide Interpreter has agreed to the conclusion of it and received the guide interpreter fee.
  8. The Guide Interpreter issues the Contract Document to the Traveler promptly after the conclusion of the contract.
  9. The expenses to conduct the guide services shall be paid by the Traveler to the Guide Interpreter during a period from the date when the payment of the guide interpreter fee has been done to before or on the date of the commencement of the guided tour.
